Film Studies Graduation
Different from the usual, I wanted to break away from the classic graduation scene with caps and gowns, and I decided to represent three years of hard work in a way that reflects my passion. That's why I chose a simulation of an editing software, specifically the timeline part.
The story began during the orientation period when I heard various opinions like, "Why study cinema? Does anyone even study cinema? Why don't you do something practical and make money?"
DO YOU THINK A SANE PERSON WOULD DO THIS JOB ? In this world, I turned a deaf ear to these opinions. In my timeline, I muted them and continued my editing. Each segment and each track represented one of the 3 years I spent in film school, and every year had its significance, its lessons, and its learning.
And because "workflow" is considered one of the most crucial aspects of our work, we added the project, The "Video Editor Project" source. And then, we concluded with the final step : EXPORTING.
Till today, I don't consider myself a pro designer or a master in editing because it's all about hardwork, the mindset, and the idea represented in the details of each "tableau" and each video. They are our identity, and what remains of technique and aesthetics comes with time.
